How to Make More Money on YouTube with Ad Break Ads/ Midroll.
"Difference between 5 types of YouTube ads"
1. Skippable In-Stream Video Ads
First on the list are skippable in-stream video ads, which can go live
either before the video or that long. These ads play for at least 5 seconds and
then viewers have the option to skip them.
2. Skippable In-Stream Video Ads
These ads can also be played right before the video or during that time,
really, the only difference is that there is no skip button at all. Given the
high percentage, about 80% of people, skip ads served on youtube videos,
non-skippable ads are best when your brand really needs to raise awareness and
doesn't want to risk getting hundreds and thousands of ad jumps.
3. Bumper Ads
Bumper ads are non-skippable six-second video ads that play right before the actual video. This ad is perfect for anyone who has a simple message to prank and doesn't require the full production of a few minutes of video.
4. Discovery Ads
Discovery ads are very different from the previous three types of ads. In
fact, they are completely similar to Google search ads, appearing among search
results in a semi-organic way. These ads help us see YouTube as a search
engine.
5. Non-Video Ads
YouTube also offers non-video ads for brands that don't want to spend big. First, you can choose to serve display ads on the right side of the result when the video plays. These ads display an image, some text to the right of the image, and a button to click to your website.
YouTube ad breaks (also
known as YouTube midroll ads) are ads that you can place in the middle of your
video, which will eventually make you more money on YouTube.
When you upload a video that's 8 minutes or more long,
you can turn on ads during the middle of the video (known as
"mid-roll") in addition to having them at the beginning and end of
the video.
Use the ad break tool to create, preview, and edit automatically placed mid-roll ads, or to manually place ad breaks in videos. You can do this regardless of your channel-level upload default.
In this video, I will
